RÈVERIE…

The term terrain vague suggests an empty space or vacant land. It is often used to describe areas of wasteland at the threshold of a big city. The surrealists identified with these zones of entropy where existence was transient. The terrain vague could be associated with an ambiguous state of being- a polychrome edge where the boundary between the real and the imagined becomes blurred.
